Κοιμόταν στο μπράτσο μου Εγώ, την ξυπνούσα από καιρό σε καιρό, Μα το λίκνισμα της βάρκας Την κοίμιζε ξανά. Ήταν στον ουρανό, μισο-κρυμμένο Το φεγγάρι, ανάμεσα στα σύννεφα. Η λιμνοθάλασσα ήταν ήρεμη, Ο αέρας, γλυκός Μόνο ένα πολύ ελαφρύ αεράκι Κουνούσε τα μαλλιά της Και έκανε τα πέπλα της Να μην σκεπάζουν πια το στήθος της.
