Ständchen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): CAT CHI DUT ENG ENG ENG FIN FRE IRI ITA KOR NOR POR SPA SPA
Leise flehen meine Lieder
Durch die Nacht zu Dir;
In den stillen Hain hernieder,
Liebchen, komm' zu mir!

Flüsternd schlanke Wipfel rauschen
In des Mondes Licht;
Des Verräthers feindlich Lauschen
Fürchte, Holde, nicht.

Hörst die Nachtigallen schlagen?
Ach! sie flehen Dich,
Mit der Töne süßen Klagen
Flehen sie für mich.

Sie verstehn des Busens Sehnen,
Kennen Liebesschmerz,
Rühren mit den Silbertönen
Jedes weiche Herz.

Laß auch Dir die Brust bewegen,
Liebchen, höre mich!
Bebend harr' ich Dir entgegen;
Komm', beglücke mich!

Serenata
Language: Spanish (Español)  after the German (Deutsch)
Leves gimen mis canciones
a través la noche hacia ti;
en la arboleda silenciosa,
amada, ven a mí.

Rumorosas susurran las altas copas
a la luz de la Luna;
del hostil traidor las acechanzas
no temas, mi bella.

¿Oyes a los ruiseñores cantar?
Ah, ellos te imploran,
y con el lamento de sus dulces notas
te ruegan por mí.

Comprenden los íntimos anhelos,
conocen la pena de amor,
y con sus notas plateadas
tocan todo tierno corazón.

Que también el tuyo muevan,
amada, óyeme,
¡temblando espero tu encuentro!
¡Ven, hazme feliz!
