Durch die Nacht zu Dir;
In den stillen Hain hernieder,

Flüsternd schlanke Wipfel rauschen
In des Mondes Licht;

Hörst die Nachtigallen schlagen?
Ach! sie flehen Dich,

Sie verstehn des Busens Sehnen,
