Mit Lust tät ich ausreiten
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT DUT DUT ENG FRE
Mit Lust tät ich ausreiten
durch einen grünen Wald,
Darin da hört ich singen,
drei Vögelein wohlgestalt.

So sein es nit drei Vögelein,
es sein drei Fräulein fein.
Soll mir das ein nit werden,
so gilt es das Leben mein.

Das erste heißet Ursulein,
Das andre Bärbelein
Das dritt hat keinen Namen,
Das soll des Jägers sein.

Er nahm sie bei den Händen,
Bei ihrer schneeweißen Hand,
Er führts des Walds ein Ende,
Da er ein Hüttlein fand.

Da lagens beieinander
bis in die dritte Stund'.
"Kehr' dich, schön's Lieb, herumb,
beut mir dein'n roten Mund!"

Met lust ging ik uit rijden
Language: Dutch (Nederlands)  after the German (Deutsch)
Met lust ging ik uit rijden
Te paard door 't groene woud.
Daarin, daar hoord' ik zingen
Drie vogeltjes welgebouwd.

Och neen, het zijn geen vogeltjes,
Het zijn drie meisjes fijn.
Zal ik dat ene niet krijgen,
Mijn dood zal dat zeker zijn.

Het eerste, dat heet Ursulijn,
Het and're Barbelijn,
Het derde heeft geen naam nog,
Dat moet van de jager zijn.

Hij nam haar bij de handen,
Haar handen sneeuwwit en rond,
Hij bracht haar naar de bosrand,
Waar hij een hutje vond.

Daar lagen ze bij elkander
Tot in de ochtendstond.
"Keer je, mooi lief, maar om,
Bied mij je rode mond!"
