Старому да хилому,
Суну я в окошечко

Мухомора старого, 
Старого поджарого ...
Старый ест -- не справится:
Мухомором давится...

А тебе, треклятому,
Белу-кудреватому,
Высмотрю я травушку,
Травушку-муравушку,
На постелю браную, 
Свахой-ночкой стланую,
С пологом-дубровушкой
Да со мной ли, вдовушкой.

Je vais en ramasser vite,
Car je suis jeune, bien jeune,
Pour mon beau-père,
Pour ma belle-mère,
Pour qu'ils cessent de lésiner
Et qu'ils s'assoient pour faire la fête.

Mais pour toi, que je déteste,
Qui es vieux et malingre,
Par la fenêtre je passerai
Un plein panier
De vieilles amanites,
Vieilles et rabougries,
Et le vieux les mangera -- ne pourra pas les supporter
L'amanite l'étouffera.

Mais pour toi, damné jeune homme,
Aux belles boucles,
Je ramasserai de l'herbe,
De l'herbe douce,
Pour décorer une couche
Pour la nuit de noces,
Avec des feuilles pour rideau,
Et couchée là, moi, la veuve.
