Pilze, frische, schwellende, schneeig weiße, goldgelbe, will ins hübsch geflochtene Körbchen emsig sammeln ich, für das Schwiegerväterchen, für das Schwiegermütterchen, daß sie nicht so knauserten, wenn es Feste feiern gilt! Aber ihm, dem Widrigen, allzeit eifersüchtigen, will ins offne Fenster ich, gift'ger Fliegenschwämme wohl eine ganze Schürze voll zum Geschenk hineinwerfen! Mag er gierig schlingen sie, an dem Schmaus verrecken dann. Dir jedoch, dem Blondlock'gen, meines Herzens Lieblinge, send ich Kräuter, duftige, Blumen, taubeträufelte, lieblich unser Hochzeitsbett auszuschmücken, Trauter mein, drauf in sel'gem Schlummer wir, du und ich, die Witwe ruhn!
