Noch spielen die Jagdhunde im Hof, aber das Wild entgeht ihnen nicht, 
so sehr es jetzt schon durch die Wälder jagt.
Lächerlich hast du dich aufgeschirrt für diese Welt. 
Je mehr Pferde du anspannst, desto rascher gehts - 
nämlich nicht das Ausreißen des Blocks aus dem Fundament, 
was unmöglich ist, aber das Zerreißen der Riemen 
und damit die leere fröhliche Fahrt.

Les chiens de chasse jouent encore dans la cour, mais le gibier ne leur échappera pas,
aussi vite qu'il courre maintenant à travers les bois.
Tu t'es harnaché d'une façon ridicule pour ce monde.
Plus de chevaux tu attelles, plus tu vas vite --
pas évidemment pour arracher le bloc de la fondation,
ce qui est impossible, mais en déchirant le harnais
et en conséquence un voyage heureux à vide.
