Pobrali dziewczęta drudzy,

Muzykantów zaproszono,
Na godach śpiewałem;
Innego zostałaś żoną,

Wdową byłaś już ci głowę 
W rutę ubierałem; 
Przyszedł wdowiec, pojał wdowę,
Ja jeszcze kochałem.

Dziś dziewczęta mnie wyśmiały,
