Eine Glocke läutet
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT ENG FRE
Eine Glocke läutet
Im Grund fernab,
Läutet und bedeutet
Ein frisches Grab.

Ein Lautenschlagen
Vom andern Tal
Bringt hergetragen
Der Wind zumal.

Mir aber will bedeuten:
Liedsang und Sterbeläuten
Ist recht für einen Wandrer
Zusammengestimmt.

Mich wundert, ob ein andrer
Die beiden zumal vernimmt?

Depuis deux vallées
Language: French (Français)  after the German (Deutsch)
Une cloche sonne
Loin dans les fonds,
Sonne et annonce
Un décès récent.

Le son d'un luth
D'une autre vallée
Est jusqu'ici porté
Par le vent.

Mais pour moi cela signifie
Que le son d'une chanson et d'un glas
Sont pour un marcheur
Bien accordés.

Je me demande si un autre
Les perçoit aussi ainsi ?
