Angel
Language: Russian (Русский)
Our translations:  ENG
Lyubil ya tixij svet lampady' zolotoj,
blagogovejnoe vokrug neyo molchan`e...
I tajnogo ispolnen ozhidan`ya,
kak chasto ya, otkinuv polog svoj,
ne spal, na myagkij pux oblokotyas` rukoyu,
i dumal: v e`tu noch` xranitel`-angel moj
prijdyot li v tishine besedovat` so mnoyu?
I mnilos` mne: na lozhe, bliz menya,
v siyan`i trepetnom lampadnogo otnya,
v blednoserebryanom sidel on odeyan`e...
I tixo, shopotom ya poveryal emu
i my'sli, detskomu dostupny'e umu,
i serdczu detskomu dostupny'e zhelan`ya.
Mne sladok by'l pokoj v ego luchax;
ya ves` proniknut by'l bozhestvennoyu siloj.
S uly'bkoyu na plamenny'x ustax
zadumchivo vnimal mne svetlokry'ly'j;
no ochi krotkie ego glyadeli v dal`,
oni gryadushhee v dushe moej chitali,
i otrazhalas` v nix kakaya-to pechal`...
I angel govoril: Ditya, tebya mne zhal`.
Ditya, ditya, pojmyosh` li ty' slova moej pechali?
Dushoj mladencheskoj ya ix ne ponimal,
kraya odezhd ego lovil i celoval
i slyozy' radosti v ochax moix sverkali.
