Röselein, Röselein
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT DUT ENG FRE SPA
Röselein, Röselein,
Müssen denn Dornen sein?
Schlief am schatt'gen Bächelein
Einst zu süssem Träumen ein,
Sah in goldner Sonne-Schein
Dornenlos ein Röselein,
Pflückt' es auch und küsst' es fein,
"Dornloses Röselein!"

Ich erwacht' und schaute drein:
"Hatt' ich's doch! wo mag es sein?"
Rings im weiten Sonnenschein
Standen nur Dornröselein!
Und das Bächlein lachte mein:
"Lass du nur dein Träumen sein!
Merk' dir's fein, merk' dir's fein,
Dornröslein müssen sein!"

Rosita, rosita
Language: Spanish (Español)  after the German (Deutsch)
Rosita, rosita,
¿realmente tienes que tener espinas?
Me dormí junto a un sombrío arroyo
Y en el dulce sueño
vi bajo la dorada luz del sol
una rosita sin espinas
La cogí y la besé
¡Una rosa sin espinas!

Me desperté y miré hacia allí:
“La tenía, ¿dónde puede estar?”
Alrededor, bajo la luz del sol
solo había rosas con espinas.
Y el arroyo se reía de mí:
“Deja a tus sueños en paz.
Date cuenta, entérate de una vez:
las rosas deben tener espinas”.
