Regenlied
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT DUT ENG FRE SPA
Walle, Regen, walle nieder,
Wecke [mir die Träume]1 wieder,
Die [ich in der]2 Kindheit träumte,
Wenn das Naß im Sande schäumte!

Wenn die matte Sommerschwüle
Lässig stritt mit frischer Kühle,
Und die blanken Blätter [thauten]3,
Und die Saaten dunkler blauten.

Welche Wonne, in dem Fließen
Dann zu stehn mit nackten Füßen,
An dem Grase hinzustreifen
Und den Schaum mit Händen greifen,

Oder mit den heißen Wangen
Kalte Tropfen aufzufangen,
Und den neu erwachten Düften
Seine Kinderbrust zu lüften!

Wie die Kelche, die da troffen,
Stand die Seele athmend offen,
Wie die Blumen, düftetrunken,
In dem Himmelsthau versunken.

Schauernd kühlte jeder Tropfen
Tief bis an des Herzens Klopfen,
Und der Schöpfung heilig Weben
Drang bis ins verborgne Leben. --

Walle, Regen, walle nieder,
Wecke [meine]4 alten Lieder,
Die wir in der Thüre sangen,
Wenn die Tropfen draußen klangen!

Möchte ihnen wieder lauschen,
Ihrem süßen, feuchten Rauschen,
Meine Seele sanft bethauen
Mit [dem frommen Kindergrauen]5.

Lied de la lluvia
Language: Spanish (Español)  after the German (Deutsch)
Bulle, lluvia, bulle sin cesar,
despierta los sueños una vez más
que soñé en mi propia infancia
cuando la arena se espumaba de humedad

Cuando la pereza del verano
luchaba indiferente con el frío,
las hojas brillantes se llenaban de rocío
y se teñía de oscuro el grano.

Qué delicia ante lo andado
al pisar con pies descalzos
recorriendo la hierba a buen paso
y cogiendo la espuma con las manos.

O en las cálidas mejillas
recibir las gotas frías
y respirar nuevos aires
henchido de infantil alegría.

Como los cálices que encontré
el alma respiraba abierta
como las flores que aspiré
que en el cielo se perdieran.

Cada gota temblaba de frío
hasta el fondo del corazón
Y el sagrado tejido de la creación
desvelaba la vida que se había escondido.

Bulle, lluvia, bulle sin cesar
despierta la música ancestral
que nos llevaba a la puerta a cantar
Oyendo a las gotas caer fuera.

Porque querría volver a oír
su murmullo suave y húmedo tañir,
lavar mi alma tierna de nostalgia
y las tristezas dulces de la infancia.
