Überm Lande die Sterne
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): FRE
Überm Lande die Sterne
Machen die Runde bei Nacht,
Mein Schatz ist in der Ferne,
Liegt am Feuer auf der Wacht.

Übers Feld bellen Hunde;
Wenn der Mondschein erblich,
Rauscht der Wald auf im Grunde:
Reiter, jetzt hüte dich!

Au‑dessus du pays les étoiles
Language: French (Français)  after the German (Deutsch)
Au-dessus du pays les étoiles
Font la ronde dans la nuit,
Mon trésor est au loin,
Il monte la garde couché près du feu.

Les chiens aboient sur les champs ;
Quand le clair de lune s'estompe,
Un bruissement monte du fond de la forêt :
Cavalier, maintenant garde-toi !
