Nach der Wandlung
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  FIN FRE
Betrachtend Deine Huld und Güte,
O mein Erlöser, gegen mich,
Seh' ich beym letzten Abendmahle
Im Kreise Deiner Theuren Dich.
Du brichst das Brod, Du reichst den Becher,
Du sprichst: »[Es]1 ist mein Leib, mein Blut;
Nehmt hin, und denket meiner Liebe,
Wenn opfernd Ihr ein Gleiches thut.« -

Wir opfern hier, nach Deinem Worte,
Auf Deinem heiligen Altar;
Und Du, mein Heiland, bist zugegen,
Des Geistes Aug' wird Dich gewahr.
Herr, der Du Schmerz und Tod getragen,
Um uns das Leben zu verleih'n,
Laß dieses Himmelsbrod uns Labung
Im Leben und im Tode seyn!

Ehtoollisaineiden muuttumisen jälkeen
Language: Finnish (Suomi)  after the German (Deutsch)
Kun ajattelen armoasi ja hyvyyttäsi
minua kohtaan, Vapahtajani,
näen sinut viimeisellä ehtoollisellasi
uskollistesi ympäröimänä.
Sinä murrat leivän, sinä ojennat maljan,
Sinä sanot: “Tämä on ruumiini ja vereni,
ottakaa ja ajatelkaa rakkauttani
aina kun uhraten näin teette.

Tässä me nyt uhraamme käskysi mukaan
pyhällä alttarillasi,
ja Sinä, Vapahtajani, olet läsnä,
Hengen silmin voin nähdä Sinut.
Herra, Sinä, joka kannoit tuskan ja kuoleman
antaaksesi meille elämän,
suo tämän taivaallisen leivän lohduttaa meitä
elämässä ja kuolemassa.
