I can sing no longer, because the wind
Language: English  after the German (Deutsch)
I can sing no longer, because the wind
Blows hard and makes it hard to breathe.
Also I fear that time runs away in vain,
If I were certain, I wouldn't now go to bed.
If I knew something, I'd not go walking home
And lose this lovely time in loneliness.
