Palaimos mano siela ieško nuolatos;
Nes kelią karalystėn dangiškojon
Jie randa tik matydami visus.
Iš skliautų aukštumoj žvaigždėtų
Žemyn pašvaistė šviečia,
Viliodama aukštyn pakilti siekį;
Tai – meilė, sakom! Niekad
Nebus troškimo! Visad
Žara, skaistumas kilniai širdžiai skleisis
Iš tų akių, kur žemėje kaip žvaigždės!
