Ales, per surar damunt el mar amb la vermellor de l’aurora, ales, ales, per damunt la vida, per damunt la tomba i la mort. Ales, com les de la joventut que de mi s’ha enfugit, ales, com l’ombra de benaurança que enganyà el meu cor! Ales, per encalçar els dies que ja han passat, ales, per atrapar les joies que han fugit en el vent. Ales, com les dels rossinyols quan floreixen les roses, per escapar del país on rauen les boires i seguir-los.
