Auf allen Gräbern fror das Wort: Gewesen.

El dia era força plujós i mogut per la tempesta,
jo passava davant moltes tombes oblidades,
amb làpides i creus malmeses, corones velles,
els noms desdibuixats, a penes llegibles.

El dia era mogut per la tempesta i força plujós,
a totes les tombes es glaçà la paraula: “exànime”.
Com morts per la tempesta els taüts dormitaven,
i a totes les tombes es desglaçà suaument la paraula: “guarit”.
