Träumend nicken Buch' und Birke; Nicht ein Flüstern, nicht ein Schaudern, Um im Schlummer nicht das süße Waldgeheimnis auszuplaudern. Nenuphar, die weiße Blume, Birgt sich gern in Nacht und Schweigen; Nur des Himmels treuen Sternen Wagt sie schüchtern sich zu zeigen!
