Sollte mich in plötzlichem Ruin Feuerblick und heitre Laune flieh'n, Sollte sich durch Ader und Gebein Bange Qual und dumpfe Schwere zieh'n -- Nicht, o nicht mit herben Arzenei'n, Denn ich hasse diese Medicin, Komm zu mir mit einem Becher Wein, Komm mit Laute, Flöte, Tamburin! Wirket das zu wenig auf mich ein, Komm mit einem süßen Mundrubin! Wird umsonst auch diese Mühe sein -- Dann Ade! dann sprich: Begrabet ihn!
