by Aleksandr Mikhailovich Glikberg (1880 - 1932), as Sasha Chyorny

Nedorazumenie
Language: Russian (Русский)
Our translations:  ENG FRE LIT
Ona byla poėtessa,
poėtessa Bal'zakovskich let.
A on byl prosto povesa,
kurčavyj i pylkij brjunet.

Povesa prišël k poėtese;
v polumrake dyšali duchi,
na sofe, kak v toržestvenoj messe,
poėtessa gnusila stichi:

,,O, sumej ognedyšaščej laskoj,
vskolychnut' moju sonnuju strast',
k pene beder za aloj podvyazkoj
ty ne bojsja ustami pripast'.

JA sveža, kak dychan'e levkoja...
o spletem ž istomnostitel'!``
Prodolžene bylo takoe,
čto čurčavi brjunet pokrasnel.

Pokrasnel, no opravilsja bystro
i podumal: byla ne byla!
Zdes' ne dumskie reči ministra,
ne slova zdes' nužny, a dela.

S nesderžannoju siloj Kentavra
Poėtesu povesa privlëk,
no vizglivo vulgarnoe: ,,Mavra, Mavra, Mavra, Mavra!``
Ochladilo kipučij potok.

,,Prostite!`` vskočil on. ,,Vy sami...``
No v glazach eë cholod i čest'.
,,Vy smeli k porjadočnoj dame,
kak dvornik, s ob"jat'jami lezt'!

Vot činnaja Mavra!`` I zadom
uchodit ispugannyj gost',
v perednej rasterjannym vzgljadom
on dolgo iskal svoju trost'.

S licom belee magnezii
šël s lestnicy pylkij brjunet.
Ne ponjal on novoj poėzii
i poėtessi Bal'zakovskich let.
