Užkliūdamas už kiekvieno akmens – Taip skubėjau iš miesto, O varnos mėtė gniūžtes ant mano skrybėlės Nuo kiekvieno namo. Kaip kitoniškai mane pasitikai, Tu nepastovumo mieste. Prieš tavo žvilgančius langus Ginčydamiesi giedojo vieversys ir lakštingala, Žydėjo kuplios liepos, Šviesiai čiurleno švarūs upeliai Ir, ach, žėrėjo dvi mergaitės akys… Taip juk buvo tau atsitikę, pameistry. Jei ši diena grįžtų manon atmintin, Norėčiau dar kartą pažvelgti atgal, Norėčiau vėl atgal linguoti, Tyliai stovėti prieš Josios namus.
