Hat die Jagd deinen tapferen Sinn verlockt? Kehre zurück, Geliebter! Ich werde Dir eine süßere Beute in Deinen Schlingen sein! Das Herz deiner dich treu liebenden Arianna wirst du noch stärker binden, Unsere Liebe wird noch stärker brennen. Keinen Augenblick länger ertrag' ich die Trennung. Dich zu sehen verzehr' ich mich, mein Herz seufzt nach dir, Teurer, komm! Aria (Largo) Wo bist Du, mein schöner Schatz, was hält Dich diesem Herzen fern? Ich sterbe, erscheinst du nicht! Fluten und Winde entreissen ihn auf ewig meinen Blicken. Ach, ungerecht seid Ihr Götter, wenn Ihr den Verräter nicht bestraft! Undankbarer! Vor dem Tod habe ich dich bewahrt - Und jetzt kannst Du mich betrügen? Und deine Versprechen und Schwüre? Lügner! Untreuer! Mich hier allein zu lassen, hast Du das Herz? An wen wende ich mich? Wo finde ich Trost? Schon wanke ich, meine Füße haltlos, und in diesem bitteren Augenblick fühle ich die zitternde Seele meiner Brust entschwinden. Aria Ah!
