Herbstentschluß
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT ENG FRE
Trübe Wolken, Herbstesluft,
Einsam wandl' ich meine Straßen,
Welkes Laub, kein Vogel ruft --
Ach, wie stille! wie verlassen!

Todeskühl der Winter naht;
Wo sind, Wälder, eure Wonnen?
Fluren, eurer vollen Saat
Goldne Wellen sind verronnen!

Es ist worden kühl und spät,
Nebel auf der Wiese weidet,
Durch die öden Haine weht
Heimweh; -- Alles flieht und scheidet.

Herz, vernimmst du diesen Klang
Von den felsentstürzten Bächen?
Zeit gewesen wär' es lang,
Daß wir ernsthaft uns besprechen!

Herz, du hast dir selber oft
Wehgethan, und hast es Andern,
Weil du hast geliebt, gehofft;
Nun ist's aus, wir müssen wandern!

Auf die Reise will ich fest
Ein dich schließen und verwahren,
Draußen mag ein linder West,
Oder Sturm vorüberfahren;

Daß wir unsern letzten Gang
Schweigsam wandeln und alleine,
Daß auf unsern Grabeshang
Niemand als der Regen weine!

Propòsit de tardor
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Núvols obscurs, vent de tardor,
solitari, vaig pel meu camí,
fullam marcit, cap ocell canta –
Ai, quin silenci! Quina solitud!

S’acosta l’hivern, fred com la mort;
boscos, on són les vostres delícies?
Camps, dels vostres enters sembrats,
les ones daurades han desaparegut!

Fa fred i aviat es fa fosc,
la boira pastura a les prades,
a través del boscatge alena
la nostàlgia; -- tot fuig i se’n va.

Cor, pots sentir la remor
dels rierols davallant pel rocam?
Ja va sent hora
de què parlem seriosament ensems!

Cor, sovint tu mateix
t’has fet mal i n’has fet als altres,
perquè has estimat, confiat;
ara s’ha acabat, hem de marxar!

Durant el viatge, et tancaré
amb fermesa i et guardaré,
encara que a fora passi
un suau vent de ponent o una tempesta;

perquè podem fer la nostra darrera etapa
en silenci i tots sols,
perquè al pendís de la nostra tomba
tan sols hi plori la pluja!
