Ir karalystė Viešpaties jam buvo atsivėrus;
Betgi duris, kurių dangus užvert nedrįso,
Prieš Dantę tėviškė tulžingai užrakino.
O nedėkingoji! Nelaimei savo
Tu savojo sūnaus kančias tęsei;
Taip nuolat keršija niekšybė tobulybei.
