Épitaphe de la jeune Timas
Language: French (Français)  after the Aeolic Greek
Les cendres de la charmante Timas
reposent dans ce tombeau.
Les Parques cruelles tranchèrent
le fil de ses beaux jours

avant que l'Hyménée eût allumé
pour elle ses flambeaux.
Toutes ses compagnes ont coupé courageusement
sur sa tombe leur belle chevelure.
