Ich glaube an Alles noch nie Gesagte. Ich will meine frömmsten Gefühle befrein. Was noch keiner zu wollen wagte, wird mir einmal unwillkürlich sein. Ist das vermessen, mein Gott, vergieb. Aber ich will dir damit nur sagen: Meine beste Kraft soll sein wie ein Trieb, so ohne Zürnen und ohne Zagen; so haben dich ja die Kinder lieb. Mit diesem Hinfluten, mit diesem Münden in breiten Armen ins offene Meer, mit dieser wachsenden Wiederkehr will ich dich bekennen, will ich dich verkünden wie keiner vorher. Je crois à tout ce qui est encore non dit. Je veux libérer mes sentiments les plus pieux. Ce que personne n'a encore osé vouloir sera un jour spontanément à moi. Si c'est de l'audace, mon Dieu, pardonne. Mais je veux juste te dire : Ma plus grande force devra être comme une pulsion, sans courroux ni hésitation ; c'est ainsi que les enfants t'ont aimé. Avec cet épanchement, avec cette affluence les bras largement ouverts en pleine mer, avec cette récurrence croissante je veux t'avouer que je t'annoncerai comme personne auparavant. Et si c'est de l'orgueil, alors laisse-moi être orgueilleux pour ma prière qui si sérieuse et seule, se tient devant ton front brumeux.
