Kom te hulp het vallend volk,
Dat poogt op te staan.
 
Gij die tot verbazing der natuur
Uw heilige Schepper hebt gebaard,
Maagd tevoren en daarna,
Uit de mond van Gabriel dat gezegende 'Wees gegroet' vernemend,
Heb medelijden met de zondaars.
