Au clair de la lune
Language: French (Français)
Our translations:  ENG GER
Au clair de la lune,
Mon ami Pierrot,
Prête-moi ta plume,
Pour écrire un mot;
Ma chandelle est morte,
Je n'ai plus de feu
Ouvre-moi ta porte
Pour l'amour de Dieu.

Au clair de la lune,
Pierrot répondit:
Je n'ai pas de plume,
Je suis dans mon lit.
Va chez la voisine,
Je crois qu'elle y est;
Car dans sa cuisine
On bat le briquet.

Au clair de la lune,
L'aimable Lubin,
Frappe chez la brune
Ell' répond soudain:
Qui frapp' de la sorte?
Il dit à son tour:
Ouvre-moi ta porte
Pour le dieu d'amour.

Au clair de la lune,
On n'y voit qu'un peu,
On cherche la plume,
On cherche du feu.
En cherchant d'la sorte
Je n'saisc'qu'on trouva:
Mais j'sais que la porte
Sur eux se ferma.

Bei Mondenschein
Language: German (Deutsch)  after the French (Français)
Bei Mondenschein --
Mein Freund Pierrot,
Leih mir deine Feder,
Um ein Wort zu schreiben;
Meine Kerze ist erloschen,
Ich habe kein Feuer,
Öffne mir die Tür
Um der Liebe Gottes willen.

Bei Mondenschein --
Pierrot erwiderte:
Ich habe keine Feder,
Ich bin in meinem Bett.
Geh zur Nachbarin,
Ich glaube, sie ist da,
Denn in ihrer Küche
Wird ein Feuer entfacht.

Bei Mondenschein --
Der zuvorkommende Lubin
Klopft bei der Brünetten,
Sie antwortet sogleich:
Wer klopft auf diese Weise?
Er sagt seinerseits:
Öffnet Eure Türe
Für den Gott der Liebe.

Bei Mondenscheine
Sieht man nur wenig,
Man suchte die Feder,
Man suchte Feuer,
Bei solchem Suchen
Was weiß ich, was man fand,
Doch weiß ich, daß die Türe
Sich hinter ihnen schloß.
