In goldnen Abendschein getauchet
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT DUT ENG FRE ITA
In goldnen Abendschein getauchet
Wie feierlich die Wälder stehn!
In leise Stimmen der Vöglein hauchet
Des Abendwindes leises Wehn.
Was lispeln die Winde, die Vögelein?
Sie lispeln die Welt in Schlummer ein.

Ihr Wünsche, die ihr stets euch reget
Im Herzen sonder Rast und Ruh';
Du Sehnen, das die Brust beweget,
Wann ruhest du, wann schlummerst du?
Beim Lispeln der Winde, der Vögelein,
Ihr sehnenden Wünsche, wann schlaft ihr ein?

Was kommt gezogen auf Traumesflügeln?
Was weht mich an so bang, so hold?
Es kommt gezogen von fernen Hügeln,
Es kommt auf bebendem Sonnengold.
Wohl lispeln die Winde, die Vögelein;
Das Sehnen, das Sehnen, es schläft nicht ein.

Ach, wenn nicht mehr in [goldne]1 Fernen
Mein Geist auf [Traumgefieder]2 eilt,
Nicht mehr an ewig fernen Sternen
Mit sehnendem Blick mein Auge weilt;
Dann lispeln die Winde, die Vögelein
Mit meinem Sehnen mein Leben ein.

Anhel apaivagat
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Immersos en la daurada llum del vespre
que solemnes es mostren els boscos!
Amb les lleus veus dels ocellets
el vent de la tarda bufa suaument.
Què mormolen el vent i els ocellets?
Bressolen el món perquè s'adormi.

Desitjos, vosaltres que us agiteu al cor
sense pau ni repòs!
Enyorança, tu que l'ànima conmous
quan descansaràs, quan t'adormiràs?
Amb la remor del vent, dels ocellets,
desitjos ansiosos, no us adormireu?

Ah, quan el meu esperit ja no voli
en les ales del somni cap a daurades llunyanies,
quan ja no miri cap els eternament llunyans estels
amb ulls frisosos
llavors mormolaran el vent i els ocellets
la meva vida amb els meus anhels.
