Que amb els raigs d’un món millor
il·lumineu el foscant de la terra;
no són pas un ulls espirituals
que esguarden de vosaltres cap a la terra,
alenant la pau
en el meu cor ofuscat?

Estrelles,
al cel llunyà!
El somni fugisser d’una vida,
no és pas somiat també al vostre reialme?
Pot elevar també l’encís, el goig,
la tristor, la melangia, la pena,
més enllà del nostre sol,
un cor sensible?

Estrelles,
al cel llunyà!
No esteu ja enviant-me senyals
de pau celestial des de la vostra llunyania?
No podria pas, a les prades àuries,
que l’abaltit sentís
una pau serena
caure a l’ànima com rosada?

Estrelles,
al cel llunyà!
Fins que el meu esperit aixequi el vol
i suri vers la vostra pau,
el meu anhel està lligat a vosaltres,
