Translator's note: Una curiosidad del alemán es que la luna tiene género masculino, por lo que sus imágenes poéticas son muy distintas que en castellano. Para “compensar”, el sol es.. ¡femenino!
Translation of title "Die Lotosblume" = "La flor de loto"He llorado en sueños: soñé que yacías en la tumba. Me desperté, y las lágrimas corrían aún por mis mejillas. He llorado en sueños: soñé que me abandonabas. Desperté, y seguí llorando amargamente mucho tiempo más. He llorado en sueños: soñé que aún eras buena conmigo. Desperté, y aún corre el torrente de mis lágrimas.
