1. El búho canta

¡Ven! Sobre el bosque serena resplandece
la noche de verano y el búho canta.
Ven, te quiero decir aquello que nunca te dije.
Y en el sendero florecen las estrellas,
flores mágicas.
Entremos juntos y ahí en el arbusto te diré
porqué lloré una tarde triste que no estabas.
Entremos juntos. Un misterio nos invita,
escucha: el búho canta.

de las hojas muertas.
Es la hora de las campanadas,

una tarde llena de recuerdos
y de tristezas muertas.

la prima volta 
ma fu certo una lontana sera 
tutta soffusa di pallide tristezze 
lungo un benigno mar! 
A noi giungevano di lontano suoni 
di campane e di greggi 
ed una pace strana ci veniva dal mare. 
Questo rammento! 
Cosa dicemmo quel giorno, 
Lo rammentate? 
Io non ricordo più. 
Ma che importa? 
Oggi mi fiorisce in cuore 
la dolcezza appassita di quell'ora lontana. 
E m'è dolce stringere nella mia 
la vostra mano bianca 
e parlarvi d'amor, 
anch'oggi vengono di lontano suoni 
di campane e di greggi 
e anch'oggi il mar come allora 
ci sorride lontano. 
Ma oggi forse m'amate un poco,

¡No recuerdo
cuando nos encontramos
por vez primera
pero seguro fue una tarde lejana
toda cubierta de de pálidas tristezas
al lado de un mar benigno!
A nosotros llegan de lejos sonidos
de campanas y de rebaños
y una paz extaña nos venía del mar.
¡Esto recuerdo!
Qué cosa dijismos aquel día,
¿lo recuerdas?
Yo no recuerdo nada.
Pero ¿qué importa?
Hoy florece en el corazón
la marchita dulzura de aquel lejano instante.
Y he sujetado dulcemente en las mías
su blanca mano
y hablabamos de amor,
hoy también llegan de lejos los sonidos
de campanas y de rebaños
y hoy también el mar como entonces
nos sonríe lejano.
Pero hoy quizás me amas un poco,
no sonríes más.
¡Ah! Vuestra mano tiembla.
Si hoy me dáis vuestros bellos labios
no esconderemos más este dulce
momento de amor.
