Wo ist der Ort, an dem du weilst? An diesem Orte will ich sterben. Kein [andrer]1 Port auf wildem Meer; In diesem Porte will ich sterben. Es läßt Karun von seinem Gold, Der Reiche nicht von seinem Horte; Wo wäre mir ein Hort, wie du? Bei diesem Horte will ich sterben. Und wenn du dich vor mir verbirgst, Und wenn du deine [Pforte]2 schließest, An dieser Pforte [lager']3 ich, An dieser Pforte will ich sterben. Das letzte Wort aus meinem Mund, Was wird es sein? Dein süßer Name. Wie fiele mir ein andres ein? [Mit]4 diesem Worte will ich sterben.
