Amid gloomy days
Language: English  after the Russian (Русский)
Chosen for Diff
Amid gloomy days and under the weight of troubles,
From the misty haze of years past,
Like a spark from some joyous ray of light
Your eyes shine upon me.
Under the spell of lucid dreams I imagine
That I'm together with you again,
By the light of day and in the silence of night,
Sharing with you the elation of my soul.
I am with you again! -- my sorrow
Has fled into the murky distance...
And fervently I want to live again --
To breathe you, to love you!
