I wander without purpose
and with weary feet

when inside my downcast heart
I had sensed a hint
of a bright dream of love
But you, my gentle friend,
my bright-winged angel,
with your tender face
always keep telling me "Live!"
O, how I want to live!
How passionately I long for light,
a return of fervent reveries,
of that impossible dream!
Tell me how to bring back
that fleeting summer
Tell me how to revive
those faded flowers
