Kogda slyšu, kak zlak prozjabaet I kak p'ët on dychanie noči, Tebja serdce moë prizyvaet, Tebja vidjat vo vsëm moi oči. Budto smotriš' ty temi zvezdami, Budto dyšeš' dychan'em prirody, Rascvetaeš' nočnymi cvetami, Naseljaeš' i vozduch i vody. Kogda slyšu večernie zvuki, Te, čto l'jutsja, čto v vozduche tajut, I tainstvenno s sčastiem muki I s pokoem trevogu mešajut, Togda kažetsja, budto nezrimo Ty ko mne izdalëka neseš'sja, Budto, čuju, promčalasja mimo, Budto plamenem po serdcu l'ëš'sja.
