V vozduche smolkaet šum dnevnych trevog; Tiš' nočnuju s neba šlët na zemlju bog. Chodjat ognevye polosy v reke; Grustno gde-to pesnja l'ëtsja vdaleke. Ticho... Otčego že v serdce u menja Ne stichaet gore prožitogo dnja? Otčego ž tak bol'no skorb' sžimaet grud'? Bože moj! bože moj! daj mne otdochnut'!
