Gude vіter vel`mi v polі
Language: Ukrainian (Українська)
Gude vіter vel`mi v polі,
Reve, lіs lamaє...
Plache kozak moloden`kij,
Dolyu proklinaє.

Gude vіter vel`mi v polі,
Reve, lіs lamaє...
Kozak nudit`sya, serdeshnij,
Shho robit`, ne znaє.

Gude vіter vel`mi v polі,
Reve, lіs lamaє...
Kozak stogne, bіdolaxa,
Sam sobі gadaє:

«Revesh, vіtre, ta ne plachesh,
Bo tobі ne tyazhko!
Ti ne znaєsh v svіtі gorya,
Tak tobі j ne vazhko.

Tobі vse odno: chi v polі,
Chi de lіs lamaєsh,
Chi po moryu xvilyu gonish,
Chi krishі zdiraєsh.

Solom’yanі і zalіznі,
Yaku de zustrіnesh,
Snіgom lyudej zamіtaєsh,
V polі yak zastignesh.

Odіrvi zh od sercya tugu,
Roznesi po polyu,
Shhob ne plakavsya ya, bіdnij,
Na neshhasnu dolyu.

A koli cz`ogo ne zrobish -
Kin` mene u more:
Nexaj zo mnoyu potone
Moє lyute gore!...»
