Ein Bruder und eine Schwester
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT
Ein Bruder und eine Schwester,
Nichts Treueres kennt die Welt,
Kein Goldkettlein hält fester,
Als Eins am Andern hält.

Zwei Liebsten so oft sich scheiden,
Denn Untreu geht im Schwang;
Geschwister in Lust und Leiden
Sich halten ihr Lebelang.

So treu als wie beisammen
Der Mond und die Erde gehn,
Der ewigen Sterne Flammen
Alle Nacht bei einander stehn.

Die Engel im himmlischen Reigen
Frohlocken dem holden Bund,
Wenn Bruder und Schwester sich neigen
Und küssen sich auf den Mund.

Un germà i una germana
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Add this translation to the Basket
Un germà i una germana,
no hi ha res al món de més fidel;
cap cadeneta d'or subjecta amb més fermesa
que el vincle que els uneix.

Dos amants sovint se separen,
perquè la infidelitat està en voga;
però els germans, en la joia i el dolor,
es mantenen junts tota la vida.

Tan fidels com la lluna i la terra
van de la mà,
les flames eternes de les estrelles
resten juntes tota la nit.

Els àngels en la seva dansa celestial
salten d’alegria per aquest vincle enciser,
quan germà i germana s'acosten l'un cap a l'altra
i es besen a la boca.
