Febus s’uneix,
tot seguit apareix un arc
ombrejat de colors.

A la boira he vist dibuixat
un cercle semblant;
certament l’arc és blanc
però és l’arc del cel.

Així doncs, alegre vellard,
no t’has pas d’afligir:
per bé que els teus cabells siguin blancs,
estimaràs encara.
