Jugend, die mir täglich schwindet, Wird durch raschen Mut ersetzt, Und mein kühnrer Arm umwindet Noch viel schlankre Hüften jetzt. Tat auch manche sehr erschrocken, Hat sie doch sich bald gefügt; Holder Zorn, verschämtes Stocken Wird von Schmeichelei besiegt. Doch, wenn ich den Sieg genieße, Fehlt das Beste mir dabei. Ist es die verschwundne, süße, Blöde Jugendeselei?
