Le diable court dans la nuit
Language: French (Français)
Le diable court dans la nuit,
avec des yeux d'rubis,
avec sa p'tite fourchette
fait la chasse aux souris,

Il en tue trois cent mille,
les jette à l'abreuvoir,
allume sa p'tite fourchette
et fait cuire le potage,

Il le fera manger aux amants
malappris qui ne pensent
qu'à rire et tout
l'jour se pourlichent,

Et quand auront vomi
leurs cœurs à l'abreuvoir
avec sa p'tite fourchette
il en fera des écuelles

qu'il attachera, toutes,
à sa queue verdoyante,
pour faire du bruit, du bruit,
pendant les nuits d'orage.
