Die Macht der Tyrannen erbebte. 

O Delwig, Delwig! Was zählt Verfolgung?
Unsterblichkeit ist dennoch der Lohn
tapferer und kühner Taten
oder des süßen Gesangs! 

Daher wird unser Bund nie vergehen,
stolz, freudig und frei!
Und in Glück und Unglück bleibt fest
der Bund der Freunde der unsterblichen Muse!
