Qu'une brume légère se dissipe
Réjouit le chasseur alpin.
Plus escarpés et plus pentus
Sont les sentiers qui serpentent,
Plus de danger monte du fond de la gorge,
Plus librement bat son cœur.
À la bien-aimée distante,
Qui est restée à la maison,
Il pense plus joyeusement.
Et maintenant qu'il a atteint son but,
