V tak mnohém srdci mrtvo jest
Language: Czech (Čeština)
Our translations:  ENG ENG FIN
V tak mnohém srdci mrtvo jest
Jak v temné pustině;
V něm na žalosť a na bolesť,
Ba místa jedině.

Tu klami lásky horoucí
V to srdce vstupuje,
A srdce žalem prahnoucí,
To mní, že miluje.

A v tomto sladkém domnění
Se ještě jednou v ráj
To srdce mrtvé promění
A zpívá starou báj!

Monessakin sydämessä asuu kuolema
Language: Finnish (Suomi)  after the Czech (Čeština)
Monessakin sydämessä asuu kuolema,
kuin synkässä erämaassa,
sellaisessa sydämessä on tilaa
vain surulle ja sairaudelle.

Silloin kun hehkuva rakkaus
tunkeutuu sydämeen petollisin aikein,
surullinen sydän kärsii
ja luulee sitä rakkaudeksi.

Sen suloisen kuvitelman vallassa
tuntuu kuin olisi paratiisissa;
kuollut sydän herää elämään
ja laulaa vanhaa laulua!
