Sommerfäden
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  FRE
Mädchen, sieh, am Wiesenhange,
Wo wir oft gewandelt sind,
Sommerfäden, leichte, lange,
Gaukeln hin im Abendwind.

Deine Worte, [leicht]1 und munter
Flattern in die kühle Luft;
Keines mehr, wie sonst, hinunter
In des Herzens Tiefe ruft.

Künden mir die Sommerfäden,
Daß der Sommer welk und alt,
[Merk ich es]2 an deinen Reden,
Mädchen, daß dein Herz wird kalt!

Fils de la vierge
Language: French (Français)  after the German (Deutsch)
Vois, jeune fille sur le versant, sur le pré
Où nous nous sommes souvent promenés,
Les fils de la vierge, légers, longs,
Voltiger dans le vent du soir.

Tes paroles, [légères]1 et allègres
Volètent dans l'air frais;
Aucune désormais ne chante
Comme naguère au fond de mon cœur.

Les fils de la vierge disent
Que l'été se fane et vieillit,
[Je vois]2 jeune fille à tes paroles
Que ton cœur se refroidit.
