Wenn schlanke Lilien wandelten, vom...
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  ENG

Could slender lilies walk, lightly...
Language: English  after the German (Deutsch)
Could slender lilies walk, lightly swayed by the west wind,
They would not succeed in achieving a walk like yours!
Wherever you go, there is no grief, there the pathway grows smooth,
Thus I thought when I heard the soft sound of your step coming from the garden.
And after the rhythm to which you walk, the light, the charming [rhythm],
In gazing after you, rocking myself, I quietly sang this song.
