Me’n vaig anar amb molta pena, Déu sap el temps en el que el retrobament ens portarà la joia. Les nits en les que jo era amb ella, el seu rostre s’enrojolava, ella esguardava amicalment el seu xicot i deia: que Déu et guardi. El meu afront, el meu dolor em parteixen el cor, d’ara endavant els portaré dintre meu. La donzella, que era als merlets, es posà a plorar amargament: pensa en mi, tu jove cavaller, no em deixis sola per més temps; torna ben aviat al meu sojorn, allibera’m dels meus penosos somnis.
