В огороде хмель зелёный

Тяжко загрустилась.

Она плачет, плачет и рыдает,
Словно рыбка бьётся,
А над нею, молодою,
Молодец смеётся.

La fille soupire.

Le saule se penche,
La fille aux yeux noirs est triste,
Lourde est sa tristesse.

Elle pleure, pleure et hoquette,
Comme un poisson qui se débat...
Et en regardant la jeune fille,
Un garçon se moque d'elle.
